Thursday Thoughts


*Derek loves cantaloupe/honeydew/watermelon, and I'm more of a strawberry/raspberry kind of person. I actually really don't like watermelon...it's just too watery. (I know.) Good thing we both love applesauce.

*I've been putting some miles on my shoes lately, and for the first time ever, I am loving running. Maybe it's because I'm doing it because I want to and not because I feel like I have to. The power of positive thinking/being kind to yourself! It works.

*Derek knew I had been wanting a fun size Twix to make this a true autumn, and he insisted we get the fun size one in the impulse section at the grocery store. 44 cents, people. We split it in the car after shopping, and it was glorious. It's officially FALL!

*I lucked out marrying Derek, because it turns out he is amazing at making smoothies. I can never get the ratio right, but his are always delicious. I'm so grateful for frozen fruit so we can have smoothies all winter long!

*Thanks to all who reached out, commented, and messaged about my current featured post about my eating disorder. I read each comment and message, and I'm grateful for the outpouring of love. I want to give each of you a big hug and send you a bag of Pretzel M&Ms. Or a 100 Grand Bar. (Can you tell I'm in a candy mood?) We are truly not alone in anything that we go through. Here's to (truly) healthy living.
